Florida reports over 19,000 new coronavirus cases

Florida saw its highest recorded amount of new cases for 2021 Thursday. After the Florida Department of Health reported approximately 20,000 extra cases of COVID-19. As cases continue to climb. Floridians are excited to take a vaccine as quickly as potential. Vaccines proceed to get their way in the arms of Floridians throughout the state. DeSantis lately has called in churches aswell as similar places to begin offering vaccines. As cases are climbing. Floridians are eager to receive a vaccine as soon as possible.

DeSantis published modifications to the country’s vaccine administration plan. Clinics must use their reports as soon as possible. By partnering with worship centers to help spread the vaccine. The governor didn’t consider Publix through news gathering on Monday. DeSantis made the decision from a Publix supermarket in Ocala. According to the website. 11 Marion county locations. Eight Hernando County stores. Three Citrus County locations will offer the vaccines. DeSantis held various news conferences on Thursday. Also said more vaccines are on the way. The governor said that Florida is expected to get about 250,000 new COVID-19 vaccine doses. About next week that will be divided approximately in half between Moderna and Pfizer shots.

Florida COVID-19 data reported

On Thursday, the Florida Department of Health reported 19,816 new cases. This brings the state’s overall total to 1,429,722 cases since March. Also, Florida reported 170 new virus-related deaths. This means at least 22,817 people have died in relation to the virus. The report includes 336 non-residents who died in Florida. There were currently 7,335 people with the virus hospitalized in Florida. Since March, 64,704 people have been hospitalized in Florida.

That number includes 383 patients. The ones who have been newly hospitalized due to the virus. The percent of positive results ranged from 8.03% to 23.28% over the past two weeks. The rate should settle between 5% and 10% to confirm a town has a hold of the virus. As of Thursday afternoon, 384,223 people have been vaccinated in Florida.
