According to the Orlando police department, the officer was driving while responding with their lights and sirens to an emergency call, when a driver who was exiting off I-4 crashed into the front of the officer’s vehicle.
Several police cruisers responding and damage the front bumper of the cruiser that was involved.
Both vehicles suffered significant damage.
The other driver with the van was taken to the hospital, his’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Details on the officer’s condition were not immediately available.
