Leu Gardens Orlando
Orlando’s version of The Secret Garden is a 50-acre botanical garden filled with color and unusual greenery. The secluded gardens offer a Southern-style experience, featuring giant bamboo, manicured lawns, and a massive collection of camellias. By blooming from October through March, Leu Gardens have the world’s most extensive collection. In addition, it is situated on the shores of Lake Rowena, which provides a perfect vantage point for sunsets. There will be special events throughout the year on the website. Explore more on Leu Gardens Orlando; everything you need to know will be provided in this article. Starting this month, there will be many activities held. The first one is Fairy Doors, Now.
They will have the Fairy Doors back at Leu Gardens this summer through September 5, 2021! Central Florida has become accustomed to this fantastic exhibit. This exhibit has twenty unique, whimsical fairy doors, which are guaranteed to inspire your child’s imagination, all about enchanted forests, secret gardens, and magical fairies. There are many beautiful doors in the 50-acre gardens, created by very special fairies. Visitors to the parks will receive a map of the fairy doors and information on each one. Admission to the Fairy Doors is included with the $10 adult and $5 child tickets (ages 4 to 17). Members of Leu Gardens and all children under three years old are free of charge.
Orlando Leu Garden Activities
During the whole month, there will be several activities. A Movie Night is on September 3, 8:00 p.m. Spend an evening watching a movie outside with your favorite person. They permit the consumption of alcohol, so pack a picnic basket and your seating. The film is rated R; an adult guardian must accompany children under 17. The movie’s location at the gardens means that you should arrive 30 minutes before movie time to choose where to sit around the movie location. They suggest that you bring in your tickets when you enter the venue so we can scan them.
All LEU Member movie nights are free to LEU Members with a valid membership card and ID. We ask that all LEU Members ensure their memberships are current. There is no need to purchase a ticket for members. Only a limited number of spaces are available. Passes for guests are not available. AHS or any reciprocal garden is not eligible for this discount.
The Alphabet Plant Hunt runs from September 10 to October 31. Can you find them all within 50 acres? You will have to see all the plants illustrating each letter of the alphabet hidden throughout the 50 acres. Learn about the unique plants in the gardens! This is an excellent activity for people of all ages—play detective or explorer in your favorite costume, kids. We will provide you with a unique map to help you locate the letters. I wish you the best of luck!
