Children can burn off energy while playing in the Orlando area playgrounds as the area has many great places for families to explore.  One of our favorite activities, when the weather is nice, is park hopping, where we visit several different playgrounds in one day.

To start with Gilbert Park – Mount Dora. It includes a pirate ship play structure with climbing features and slides and a great view of Lake Dora and Mount Dora lighthouse. There is also a wooden toddler playground, a rope jungle gym, hammocks, and several swings, including an Expression Swing where parents can swing with their babies. Many pavilions are available for parties, and there are many green areas around the park. Right, where kids can kick around a ball, as well as nearby restroom facilities. Walking distance away is Palm Island Park, which features nature trails and boardwalks over Lake Dora.

Bill Frederick Park At Turkey Lake — Orlando. An admission fee of $5 per car is well worth the 183 acres of this park. Family-friendly amenities include a swimming pool, a disc golf course, tennis courts.
