Winter Park Orlando Neighbourhood
Visiting Winter Park | Orlando
There is nothing better than browsing the Winter Park Farmers’ Market on the weekends. In 2020, the market started being held outside in the West Meadow in Central Park. Each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the market can be found by the train station on New York Avenue and Morse Boulevard. 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bring your favorite furry companion with you to see the sights!
Then next, you would want to embark on something a bit breezier and a whole lot cooler: the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour. Being a family-owned and operated business since 1938, the perfect attraction for anyone interested in visiting the idyllic Winter Park. This Chain of Lakes and its beautiful canals have cypress trees, Florida wildlife, flora, and fauna.
Occasionally, you may see fish, birds, and you might see some alligators in the lake. Some of those are hard to come by these days. Children are generally admitted for $7, and adults pay $14. Reservations are recommended. All of the tours for the day might be fully booked, so we encourage you to book beforehand. Every hour, beginning at 10 a.m., boats leave the dock.
Winter Park Chain of Lakes offers about an hour of leisurely riding through three of the seven lakes. Winter Park’s tour guides are retired residents passionate about sharing their knowledge of this community and its homes. The canals attract visitors from all over the world who want to learn more about the community, which is different from the rest of more excellent Orlando.
